Derek chuckled in reply to his best friend. “Really soon–if you weren’t having another surgery tomorrow.” He shrugged, knowing the protocol for surgeries quite well by now.
“Then let’s put that surgery on hold. Why don’t you grab me a wheelchair, let’s put these monitors on wheels, and go down to Joe’s bar. I’m on life or death here so I think you’re obligated to buy.” He mused.
❝ So I’ve been told. ❞ Her grin was tight and held a devilish essence – fitting, all things considered – as she stepped just a fraction of an inch closer. ❝ Let’s get out of here. ❞
❝We can come back later… because I’m going to need to confess a lot after we’re finished.❞ Adding with a smirk, before hooking his fingers along her hips, and beginning to walk out. Every part of him struggling not to press his lips to hers at that very moment.
Mark had already reunited with Amelia earlier that day, saving her from what
looked like a hell of a conversation that was about to happen with Derek.
She had informed him that Carter would be here later today, when she was
busy with surgery, so he gladly offered to show her around.
Eyes catching hold of what looked like a mini-Amelia from a far.
Inching closer as a soft smile graced across his face “Mark
Sloan. Don’t know if you remember me we only met a few times
when you were real little. I’m a friend of your momand uncle. “
Meredith’s fingers laced up the back of her younger sister’s white dress, tying the laces into a soft bow at the bottom. Today was the day which even a year ago Lexie Grey had never imaged happening. Walking into her 1st day of her internship, she never imagined the cockyself-centered plastic’s attending that had a dirty mind would end up being the man she would be marrying that very day. But from that first meeting, that first kiss, that first night together and through each up and down, Lexie knew, he was the one she wanted to be with. F O R E V E R.
Fixing her hair in the mirror, Lexie began touching up her makeup before the sound the the door to her dressing room open and shut. At first, she began thinking it would be Amelia walking in to complain about the dress or her flower girl, Zola running to show off her dress with Sofia. But as she turned around, she quickly grabbed hold of her robe, trying to hide the long, white gown from his eyes. Only, his words causing her smile to grow and her arms fell before walking closer to the man she loved.
“I mean, we made it through the plane crash and the shooting. I think we can handle anything life can throw at us.” A smirk grew up on her pink lips as her fingers snaked into the older man in front of her. “I think if we are going to talk about TRADITIONAL vows, I think we kind of broke most of them by now.” Her olive hues looked up towards his blue with that sneaky smirk on her lips.
“You look very handsome, Dr. Sloan. Who knew you could clean up so well out of those scrubs. ”
“Knock on wood,” He added with a joking chuckle as she spoke of the days
that were faded memories, but something that would never truly l e a v e
them. A symbol for their everlasting L O V E. When all could have been lost
but somehow they made it through despite all thoughts otherwise. Through
each day they held out, they grew stronger. They had beat the impossible
and now their day was finally H E R E. Yet Mark, putting all jokes to the
side, couldn’t help but worry deep in his mind, knowing all to well how
fast something can be taken away from you. So for now, he held on for
dear life. He held onto her, and he would until the moment he died.
In this second, the whole world seemed to stop. And the only two people left
in it were him and her. The only thing he really needed in life. Something he
never thought he would ever want. But sure enough she gave him a feeling that
no one else could match. She gave him a home, no matter where they were. Being
a doctor meant everything to him. But being with Lexie meant the world to him.
And he finally had that, it was only minutes away.
A soft chuckle parted through his lips at her comment, fingers
sliding along her hips and pulling her closer. “You don’t look
too bad yourself, Little Grey.” Pursing his lips lightly at the
word choice, bringing him back to day one. When they were just
two doctors messing around in Meredith’s attic.
Addie smiled brightly as his hands cupped her jaw. As he kissed her, she slid her arms around his waist beneath his lab coat. “We are,” she whispered, pulling away before kissing him again.
Mark wasn’t sure if this was a mistake or not. But he knew for a fact that
the mistake would be not giving it a shot. His fingers slid along her
jawline, unable to do anything but fall into the kiss.
“So, are you just going to stand there or are you going to come give your little sister a hug?”
A smile g r a c e d his face from ear to ear, stepping forward and pulling his sister in to a soft hug. “I wasn’t expecting you,” Adding before he pulled back from the embrace.
after two years of saving up, she finally had enough money to get her burns treated. she didn’t really mind them but she just thought it was time to get it done, and after her older brother had surprised her with getting an appointment with who apparently is one of the best plastic surgeons in america, how could she say no? so she flew from dc to seattle to get her surgery done, and now here she was, dressed in a hospital gown and was about to meet dr. sloan.
with a small smile on her face, she looked up when she heard the door open. “hi, you must be doctor sloan??? i’m jane.. but i guess you already knew that.. i mean from that file you’re holding..”
Curling fingers grasped around the door and pulled it open, with a slight O F F
feeling entering his gut. Mark stepped into the room with his g a z e glued on the
file, flipping through it before STOPPING in his tracks at the familiar voice.
A sudden pulsing pit clenching his stomach. He didn’t have to look up to know who
it was. But finally ice blue eyes picked up from the file and f o u n d her amber glow. Stepping back in complete shock, short of breath, feeling as if all the air has been whisked out of him in a matter of seconds. Jaw clamping together, unable to utter anything other than…
“Good point. No one pisses off Derek the way we do when we work together. We make a great a team,” she chuckled.
“He might just have a stroke if he finds out. Is there a girl in his life you haven’t banged? Besides Meredith, I mean. Or has she made the cut, too?” Being one of many never bothered her much. As long as she didn’t get syphilis or something, she couldn’t care less about someone’s sexual history – maybe because it would be the pot calling the kettle black thing.
“We’re a force to be reckon with, you && I.”
“Meredith is one I have not banged yethe punched me before I even got to first base. Such a cock-blocker.” Even Mark was to talk about this with any of the other previous women in his life it would end in either a crowd of awkward silence or a slap to the face. In most occasions both. But with Amelia it had always been different.
“It can be,” she promised. “I want to be with you, Mark. I’m not going to run away this time.” She was done running away from happiness –– done screwing up good things.
❝Thenwe’re doing this. We’re trying again, you and I. ❞ Mark’s eyes traced over her face and he inched forward taking her face in his hands. Pulling her forward and planting a lingering kiss along her lips.
Mark, Derek, and Addison all live in New York. Derek is married to Addison in what people think is a ‘happy’ relationship but really Mark is screwing his best friends wife behind his back.

Oh yeah and gave me all the Maddison and Slexie. I'm also probably the biggest crackshipper.
